RM6390 Energy and Decarbonisation Services is the next-generation energy agreement from the Government Commercial Agency (formerly Crown Commercial Service). It brings the supply of electricity and gas together with the services the public sector needs to manage and decarbonise its energy use: partnership and consultancy services, bureau services, metering, and enhanced Power Purchase Agreements for renewable generation.
The framework replaces RM6251 Supply of Energy 2 and aggregates approximately £50 billion of public sector energy procurement, which makes it one of the largest commercial agreements in UK public procurement. Buyers will range from central government departments to NHS trusts, councils, schools and housing providers.
